Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Mosque Affairs Department, is organizing the Reading of Surah Yasin and Special Doa in conjunction with Nisfu Syaaban 1447 Hijrah/2026 Masihi. This event is set to take place across all mosques, suraus, and religious halls nationwide, with the main gathering at Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony is scheduled for Monday, the 15th of Syaaban 1447 Hijrah, which corresponds to the 2nd of February 2026, starting at 6 in the evening. The public is encouraged to attend this significant religious event to gain rewards and blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, as well as to support the sanctity and importance of mosques, suraus, and religious halls.
