Bandar seri begawan: A delegation from the Ministry of Health attended a religious ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration on the night of August 29th. Present at the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The ceremony included the reading of Al-Qur’an verses, tazkirah, and a dikir presentation. The delegation was joined by the Village Consultative Councils in the Brunei Muara District, Mosque Youth groups from Pehin Datu Imam Haji Abdul Mokti Mosque and Burong Pingai Ayer Mosque, as well as the Arabic School Division under the Islamic Studies Department.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Dikir Maulud at Masjid Universiti also took place on the same night. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs, was in attendance. The ceremony was organized by the mosque’s takmir committee and muslimah, along with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Meanwhile, a Dikir delegation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs continued the Ihya Maulidur Rasul at Kampung Bunut Mosque. Leading the delegation was Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ceremony featured a tazkirah and Dikir Maulud performance.
