A company was issued a compound fine for dumping rubbish in a public place.
YA NUR TRADING COMPANY SDN BHD in Kampung Petani, Tutong District was issued a $200 compound under the Miscellaneous Offences Act Chapter 30 and was given 7 days to settle the fine. If in default, the case can be brought to court and a fine of $1,000 will be imposed for the first offence and $3,000 for the second and subsequent offences as well as imprisonment not exceeding three months.
