The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that no Malaysians were involved in the missing Egyptair MS804 flight, based on the information released by Egyptair officials. The flight en route to Cairo from Paris was reported missing from radar above the Mediterranean Sea.
The flight departed from Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Paris on 18 May 2016 at 11.09 P.M. and was reported missing from radar at 2.45 A.M. upon entering Egypt's airspace. The flight was carrying 56 passengers and 10 cabin crew members on board. Search and rescue operations are underway to find the missing aircraft.
