Jalan pasir berakas: The Language and Literature Bureau has introduced a Mobile Library Service to Jigsaw Primary School, aiming to foster a passion for reading and improve literacy among individuals of all ages. This initiative allows for a more adaptable and direct approach to community engagement, as the mobile library can now reach people directly. The launch event took place on the morning of April 11th at the school.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch was officiated by Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau, alongside Helen Chin, Principal of Jigsaw Primary School. Currently, the service includes seventy-seven designated stops, which cover government, private, and religious schools in the Brunei-Muara District, as part of a structured visit programme. The launch event also featured student performances inspired by reading materials and included a visit to the Mobile Library.
