MoU Signing

 

​Students and academics of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA and 209 universities in the Republic of Turkiye will have more opportunities for development and exposure with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU. The MoU aims to initiate a legal framework for long-term cooperation between education institutions in both countries. The signing ceremony was held on 5th October afternoon.

 

Signing on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye was His Excellency Professor Doctor Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Brunei Darussalam, while UNISSA was represented by its Rector, Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal. The MoU will allow the exchange of students and scholars as well as collaborations in various academic fields.

 

The ceremony ran concurrently with the Launching Ceremony of the first session of a Turkish Language course for the academic and administrative staff of UNISSA. The Turkish Language Course will run for 12 weeks.
