Throughout Ramadhan, the Munajat Ramadhan ceremony will be held on Saturdays, after the Fardhu Asar Prayer. The Ministry of Religious Affairs recently held ‘Munajat Di Ambang Ramadhan’ virtually.
The reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. ‘Munajat Di Ambang Ramadhan’ is a follow up to the Munajat Night held on Saturdays. The event invited the country’s citizens and residents to seek forgiveness from Allah the Almighty via Munajat, Istighfar, recitation of Surah Yaasin and seek protection from disasters and diseases, specifically COVID-19. Also joining the event was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.
