Bangkok, NACC reveals assets of 3 ministers who left the cabinet: Settha 1, 'Phuangphet' 877 million, 'Cholnan' 559.8 million, and 'Anucha' 28.9 million. The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has disclosed the assets and liabilities of three politicians after they left their ministerial positions in the 'Settha 1' government on April 27, 2024. Ms. Puangphet Chunladet left her position as Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, stating that her spouse had passed away. She has total assets of 877,000,560 baht, divided into 500,000 baht in cash, 58,532,588 baht in 28 deposit accounts, 70,987,008 baht in investments in 6 bank funds, 47 plots of land in Bangkok, Loei, Phuket, Pathum Thani, and Rayong totaling 202,630,000 baht, and houses and structures. There are 9 houses and office buildings in Bangkok, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Rayong, worth 333,550,000 baht; 9 vehicles, worth 22,121,963 baht total; of which 1 motorboat was parked for repairs worth 200,000 baht; a yacht reported missing at Pattaya Police Station in 2015 worth 1 million baht; and other assets worth 188,679,000 baht, such as 19 diamond rings, earrings and diamond pendants worth 37.8 million baht, 26 diamond rings and earrings worth 27,870,000 baht, 4 ivory tusks worth 1 million baht, 9 gold bars weighing 3 kilograms and 60 baht each worth 8,415,000 baht; 5 gold necklaces weighing a total of 10 baht each worth 1.6 million baht; 1 set of Benjaphakee worth 40 million baht; 22 watches worth 11.05 million baht; and 165 amulets. Value 18,852,000 baht, 22 brand name bags, value 3.15 million baht, and reported total debt of 19,454,155 baht, with total income of approximately 12,498,914 baht per year from salary of 898,914 baht, land rent of 1.2 million baht, selling 4 plots of vacant land for 10.4 million baht, total expenses of 3,458,376 baht. In this regard, Ms. Phuangphet submitted an asset declaration upon assuming the position of minister on September 5, 2023, with total assets of 871,071,133 baht and debts of 17,597,18 baht. As for Dr. C holanat Srikaew, he announced his resignation from the position of Minister of Public Health, stating that he and his spouse, Ms. Nuansakul Bamrungphong, have total assets of 559,863,126 baht, of which Dr. Cholanat's assets are 10,204,746 baht, consisting of 600,000 baht in cash, 469,746 baht in one bank account, 2 million baht in two plots of land, 3 million baht in buildings and structures, 4,135,000 baht in other assets, such as 8 amulets worth 3,710,000 baht, and debts in the form of loans from banks and other financial institutions of 441,608 baht.
