Implementation of safe transition from pandemic to endemic for Brunei Darussalam is the goal of the National COVID-19 Recovery Framework. Announced by the COVID-19 Steering Committee on the 25th of October, the framework will take into account the country’s overall vaccination coverage status and critical cases, especially cases in Categories 4 and 5.
The transition phase under the said framework will be carried out in phases. The framework contains 4 phases namely the Containment Phase, Preparation Phase, Transition Phase, and Endemic Phase.
