The theme performance of the 39th National Day Grand Assembly recalls the glorious rule of Brunei Darussalam’s Sultans through traditional and patriotic songs. With a high spirit of patriotism, the participants comprising mostly of youth proudly displayed a determination to uphold the national day theme “Warisan Budaya: Jati Diri Bangsa”.
Accompanied by Orkestra Tradisional Senandung Darussalam, the performance involved more than two thousand and nine hundred participants and traditional musicians.
The people’s patriotism continues to flourish almost four decades after the country achieved full independence.
The full independence achieved 39 years ago is a blessing that should be guarded so that the country continues to progress and succeed. Together towards “Menjayakan Wawasan Negara.
