The Ministry of Religious Affairs will further strengthen 5 religious services programmes towards producing work productivity that is more dynamic and efficient in helping to make a success of the ministry's vision and mission and at the same time accomplishing the National Vision 20-35 in line with the 34th National Day theme - Accomplishing the Wawasan Negara. The programmes are Management and Administration, Dakwah Propagation and Islamic Syiar, Islamic Law, Social Security as well as Islamic Education. As a result of findings from the World Cafe session, a systematic method of discussion in a relaxed and conducive environment to establish a collective dialogue network between the groups of participants based on critical discussion topics for an organisation was held last Monday. The World cafe resolution was handed over at the 34th Brunei Darussalam National Day Special Assembly for Ministry of Religious Affairs' employees, yesterday morning.
Present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. According to Awang Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Director of Administration, Ministry of Religious Affairs, the World cafe aimed to hear and gather the suggestions and contributions of the ministry's officers in a proper manner to strengthen religious services and establish a continuous and open communications channel between the ministry's employees so that the ministry's objective and focus is clear and directed towards achieving the Wawasan Negara.
The assembly included a video clip presentation titled '50 year Leadership of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in Religious Services' and poetry declamation. Awang Roslan bin Haji Taja'ah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs while presenting the World cafe resolution among other matters underscored a number of efforts made to further strengthen religious services towards producing a more dynamic and efficient work productivity. He explained that the ministry's management and administration section will further enhance dissemination, transparency and communications to all levels of staff at the ministry on information that needs to be delivered to make a success of the planned programmes. The World cafe Resolution was handed over by Awang Roslan bin Haji Taja'ah to Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abd Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the ministry.
