The National Level Maulidur Rasul Assembly for 1444 Hijrah will be held on Saturday, 12 Rabi’ulawal 1444 Hijrah corresponding to 8th October 2022 at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital. This year’s celebration carries the theme “Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Berdoa dan Bertawakkal Menghadapi Ujian: Meraih Syafa’at Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam” or Patience, Endeavour, Supplication and Faith in Facing Tests: Obtaining Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam’s Intercession.
The ceremony held at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque will be filled with Dikir Marhaban, Special Talk and Recitation of Selawat. Similar ceremonies will be held simultaneously in the other districts. In Belait District, the ceremony will be held at Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque in Kuala Belait; Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town for Tutong District and in Temburong District, it will be held at Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town.
Invited guests and the public attending the event are advised to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure, S.O.P by conducting ART on the day of the event, prior to attending the event. They are required to upload the ART results to BruHealth app or take a picture of their ART result using their respective mobile phones and write down the date and time of test. Only individuals with negative ART results are allowed to enter. Individuals with symptoms such as fever, flu, cough and respiratory problems are advised not to attend the event. Attendees are urged to wear face masks and bring a large prayer mat.
