The National Level Maulidur Rasul Assembly for 1444 Hijrah will be held on Saturday, 8th October 2022 at Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital. To ensure the smooth running of the event, a full rehearsal took place on 6th October morning.
Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairman of the Major Islamic Events Executive Committee and Musabaqah Al-Quran Reading for Adults 1444 Hijrah. Also in attendance was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. This year’s celebration theme is ‘Patience, Endeavour, Faith and Supplication in Facing Tests: Obtaining Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam’s Intercession’.
