Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam, AMBD with the cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Radio Television Brunei and Tabung Amanah Pekerja continue the third roadshow in conjunction with the National Savings Day 2017. This time around the roadshow was held at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Saadatul Bolkiah Secondary School in Lumut. The roadshow themed 'Financially Literate Generation'.
The roadshow aimed at raising the public's awareness specifically students on the importance of savings and tackling financial issues. The National Savings Day roadshow is in line with AMBD's efforts to build a financially literate generation and achieve the objective of Wawasan Brunei 2035 to have a dynamic and sustainable economy as well as a highly skilled population. Various interactive games and activities pertaining to Financial Management and Introduction to Currencies were lined up for the students. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin and Yang Berhormat Awang Hanapi bin Mohd Siput, members of the Legislative Council.
