National Vaccination Programme, 4 Directive Violations issued Compound Fines

The Minister of Health also informed on the accomplishments of the National Vaccination Programme as of the 26th of March 2022.

The National Vaccination Programme for those receiving three doses of the vaccine is 60.8 percent of the country’s total population.

For the movement restriction carried out from 12 midnight to 4 in the morning, 4 violations of the directive nationwide were issued with compound fines, in which two of it were violations of the directive to stay at home.

The Ministry of Health also informed that commencing 1st of April 2022, those who enter Brunei Darussalam and had been infected with COVID-19 as well as have evidence of infection such as a Recovery Certificate where the validity period of the evidence of infection is not more than 90 days, therefore these individuals are exempted from being required to undergo RT-PCR swab test before leaving the country of origin. They are only required to undergo ART testing upon arrival in Brunei Darussalam where the cost of the payment of the ART upon arrival is $20 per person. They are also exempted from undergoing mandatory self-isolation upon arrival in the country.
