National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, No Mukim Recorded More Than 40 Cases, 6 Directive Violations Issued With Compound Fines

The Minister of Health also shared on the accomplishments of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 on the 19th of December 2021.

The overall rate of the population who have received at least one dose of the vaccine is 94.3 percent; 92 percent have received two doses; while 7.7 percent have received three doses of the vaccine. To provide a clearer picture of the location of the positive cases detected in the country, the Ministry of Health also shared some of the results of the research that has been conducted.

Between 12th to 18th December 2021, there is no mukim with more than 40 cases, in which 16 mukims had a total of between 1 to 40 cases and 23 mukims had zero case. Meanwhile, during the movement restrictions carried out from 10 in the evening until 4 in the morning, 6 violations of the directive nationwide were issued with compound fines, whereby all of them were violations of the directive to stay at home.
