National Youth Day Celebration Exhibition

This year’s National Youth Day exhibition focused on the excellence of youth who made a name for themselves in the fields of entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation as well as potential youths who succeeded in penetrating local, regional and international markets. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam took a closer look at the exhibition. Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty’s son and brother, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; and His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah.

Three special exhibitions were highlighted namely the Youth Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Exhibition; National Youth Policy and Strategy 2020-2035 Exhibition; and the Mengelinga Application Exhibition.

The Sustainable Development Cluster Exhibition showcased the youth’s involvement in green initiatives that supports sustainable development.

The Technovation Cluster focused on youth’s achievement in the fields of technology and innovation that have an impact in spurring socio-economic development, agriculture and job opportunities.

Meanwhile, the Healthy Lifestyle Cluster exhibited Creative Niche and product designs from young designers who made a name for themselves in the regional and international arenas.

High Impact Result and Emerging Technologies by students from higher education institutions were displayed at the ILMU Cluster.

The exhibition also highlighted five Excellence Project for Youth namely Kindul BN; Lamin Warisan; Youth Services Learning; and Syarikat Bersih Solutions.

Also on display was Progresif Sendirian Berhad’s new product.

The ‘First Aider @ Mosque’ Pilot Project is a collaboration between Makan Ceria Sendirian Berhad and the Brunei Red Crescent Society.

This year’s celebration aimed to inclusively involve 100,000 youths nationwide through the implementation of major and side activities.
