Brunei Darussalam will celebrate its 35th National Day with a Grand Assembly at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien in the capital on the 23rd of this month with the participation of all levels of society in the country. Nearly 7 thousand people will take part in the field performances on the auspicious day. RTB covered the 'core theme' and the FRAME section participants rehearsing at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium yesterday morning.
Secondary school and college students taking part in the 'core theme' performance and Civil Service workers who will perform in the FRAME section of the celebration displayed great patriotism during the rehearsal despite training together for the first time.
This year's National Day core theme performance will involve more than four thousand and four hundred students from 35 secondary schools and colleges in Brunei Muara, Belait and Tutong Districts. To ensure the smooth running of the performance, rehearsals were also held the respective schools earlier. The performers showed great dedication and diligence under their trainers.
Meanwhile, almost one thousand and eight hundred members of the Civil Service from 13 ministries will perform in the FRAME section of the historic celebration. The involvement of selected performers reflects the people's love and loyalty to the Monarch as well as their patriotism.
The students' patriotism and love for the country also showed clearly during the rehearsal for the upcoming celebration.
