Nuzul Al-Quran Celebration held by Prime Minister’s Office

Al-Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi in Ramadhan as main guidance for Muslims through ages. Allah Subhanahuwa Ta’ala has promised rewards for those who read the holy book even for just one verse of Al-Quran daily. These were among the matters highlighted during a talk in conjunction with Nuzul Al-Quran Celebration and Presentation of Donations for Hari Raya Aidil Fitri for the Prime Minister’s Office and Departments under it. The ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at Dewan Banquet, Prime Minister’s Office.

In attendance were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office AND Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The talk titled ‘Al-Quran dan Perkhidmatan Awam dalam Era Industri Revolusi 4.0’ also touched on rapid technological advancement that makes it easier for humans to manage life including reading the Quran.

The ceremony continued with the mass reading of Selawat Tafrijiyyah to earn rewards and blessings from Allah Subahanahu Wata’ala with peace, prosperity and safety from catastrophes, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Also held was a presentation of donations to 37 staff under the Prime Minister’s Office. It was organised by the Civil Service, Welfare, International and Media Division, Prime Minister’s Office in collaboration with Management Services Department.
