A number of activities are held during the Eco-Festival in conjunction with the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition, MYCE 2022 until 3rd July 2022 at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital.
The festival was jointly officiated by several cabinet ministers. Also held was the Donate a Tree campaign, a collaborative initiative by Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD through the SME360 Sustainable Nation campaign in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Climate Change Secretariat and Progresif Media. The launch took place at the BIBD Connects area’s EcoCinema screen.
The event continued with a mass tree planting activity in support of the National Climate Change Policy of Brunei Darussalam, especially for Strategy 2 on Forest Cover. Several activities are held during the eco-festival week including test drive activities for the EV electric vehicles and exhibitions. Also present were Head of Representatives in Brunei Darussalam.
