10 business premises were found in violation of the directives issued by the Ministry of Health during the ‘Operasi Merati’ conducted in all four districts.
The managers of the business premises were found to have committed minor offences and were given warnings and noted down in the Health Enforcement Unit patrol records for the purpose of follow-up inspections in the near future.
Meanwhile, in Operasi Merati Khas, an individual was found violating the mandatory self-isolation order at one of the monitoring centers provided by the Government, under the Infectious Diseases Act, Chapter 204. The individual was issued a 500-dollar compound fine.
