Bandar seri begawan: As part of the Department of Immigration and National Registration’s efforts to enforce Acts and Regulations, an operation called OPERASI PANYAP was conducted targeting rented houses and rooms in Mukim Kilanas and Mukim Sengkurong.
According to Radio Television Brunei, six foreigners were detained during the operation and taken to the Law Enforcement Division for further investigation. All the foreigners are believed to have overstayed in the country after their immigration passes expired. Among them, one individual was suspected of working using a Visit Pass. Additionally, four others were unable to produce original documents when inspected.
