Operating Hours for All Health Centres Nationwide

The Ministry of Health through the Health Services Department informed on the changes in operating hours for services at the health centres starting from Wednesday, 11th of August 2021.

The operating hours for all health centres nationwide is from 7:45 in the morning to 12:15 at noon AND 1:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon.

For Flu Clinic, patients experiencing fever, cough and flu symptoms will be assigned to the stated locations. Flu clinic at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Muta-Wakillah Hayatul Bolkiah Health Centre in Gadong and Seria Health Centre are closed and will accept general patients without fever, cough and flu symptoms. The health centres are opened from Monday to Thursday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, appointments at Chronic Disease Clinic are cancelled until a later date. However, patients under the Chronic Disease Clinic who are instructed to conduct blood test are required to undergo the test. Affected patients will be contacted by their respective health centres for medicine supply.

General clinic is opened for patients with health problem, but not for individuals with fever, cough and flu symptoms. The changes for services at the health centre are as stated on the screen.

The changes also applies for Phlebotomy service.

Medicines at the set Flu Clinic are specified for medicines related to treatment of fever, cough and flu only. Other medicines can be picked up at the designated locations. Pharmaceutical services at other health centres are operating as usual.

For the Mother and Child Clinic, appointment at Berakas Health Centre is transferred to Ong Sum Ping Health Centre. Appointment at Pengkalan Batu Health Centre is transferred to Jubli Perak Health Centre in Sengkurong. Ultrasound session is transferred to Jubli Emas Health Centre in Bunut every Thursday. Meanwhile appointments at PAP Test Clinic, Health Screening Clinic and smoking cessation clinic at all health centres will be stopped until a later date.
