Kampung sungai akar: 32 orphans and 44 recipients from specific groups in Kampung Sungai Akar were the beneficiaries of donations during a Tahlil and Donation Presentation Ceremony held for the village. The event took place on 15th March at Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque, Kampung Sungai Akar.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Lau How Teck, a Member of the Legislative Council. The event was organized by the Kampung Sungai Akar Village Consultative Council and the Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque Takmir Committee, Kampung Sungai Akar. It featured a mass tahlil reading and the breaking of fast, fostering a spirit of community and charity among the attendees.
