Panel Discussion Aims to Enhance Bruneian Student Opportunities in EU

Jerudong: To attract more Bruneian students pursuing higher education, enhance their skills, and obtain scholarship opportunities in the European Union, a Panel Discussion was held with EU Ambassadors. The event was part of the EU-Brunei Darussalam partnership and aimed to promote academic mobility, research collaboration, and people-to-people exchanges between the EU and Brunei Darussalam. It took place during the 11th Higher Education Expo at Bridex, Jerudong, on the afternoon of February 7th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Excellency Denis Chaibi, the EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, highlighted the significance of investing in education during his keynote speech. He stated that the EU's participation in the Education Expo demonstrates their commitment to supporting the aspirations of Brunei Darussalam's youth and expanding access to higher education across EU Member States. The panel discussion included Her Excellency Eve Lubin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France, and His Excellency Weert B¶rner, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany.
