The Peer Empathize and Embracing Resilience or PEER programme is hoped to turn the youth as a support system to other youth peers who are facing mental problem. Apart from that, it is aimed to equipped youths with the skills to identify mental problem, to be emphatic and problem solving through discussion and self-expression to become more resilient. The 3-day programme involved 33 youth participants aged between 16 to 28, ended yesterday afternoon.
Present was Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The event was further highlighted with self-expression performance which was learned during the camp with Syababul Iman Group, Medley House Productions and Soul Industry. The programme was organised by Community Development Department in collaboration with Health Promotion Centre; Ministry of Religious Affairs; Empowerior Counselling and Consultancy; Syababul Iman Group as well as Medley House Productions and Soul Industry.
