Wanting to be a national chili producer and a positive contributor to local economic growth is the vision of Man Food Enterprise, a company that focuses on growing vegetables. Operating in the Limpaki Agricultural Development Area since September 2020, the company uses the country’s first para fertigation system on a 2-hectare field for pepper crops.
The company currently has 6 employees consisting of local children. Despite facing various obstacles, the planting of pepper is facilitated by the Department of Agriculture and Agri-food in providing advice and guidance. As the company produces high-tech vegetables, it will try to increase the production of high quality products to be marketed locally and abroad.
