150,948 small boxes of His Majesty’s personal gift of dates were distributed to the people and residents of 14 Mukims in Brunei Muara District before the month of Ramadhan.
His Majesty’s Personal Gift of Dates shows His Majesty’s love and concern to all Muslim citizens and residents in the country, including Muslim foreigners, especially for breaking of fast in the month of Ramadhan. Each individual received a small box of dates.
In Tutong District, to ensure the smooth distribution of dates, the date distribution process is implemented using the special forms distributed through the penghulus and village heads. The distribution process is carried out according to the SOP set by the Ministry of Health in the effort to control the spread of COVID-19.
