Kampung merangking: The Mukim Bukit Sawat Consultative Council, in collaboration with the Belait District Office, organized the ‘Pesta Tamu Jati Kampung Merangking’ in celebration of His Majesty’s 79th Birthday. The event took place at the Kampung Merangking Religious Hall area, drawing participation from the local community and officials.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was launched by Awang Muhamad Faiq bin Haji Rani, Assistant Belait District Officer. The marketplace featured over 40 stalls, providing vendors an opportunity to display and sell their products. The event also saw the presence of Members of the Legislative Council, underscoring its importance in the community’s cultural and economic activities.
