Present and Receive Letters Of Credence

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon presented Letters of Credence to newly-appointed Brunei Darussalam envoys and received Letters of Credence from newly-appointed foreign envoys to the country.

His Majesty first presented Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Noralizan binti Abdul Momin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Sultanate of Oman;

Her Excellency Megawati binti Dato Paduka Haji Manan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Philippines;

And Her Excellency Latifah binti Zaini, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia.

His Majesty then received Letters of Credence from Her Excellency Erma Said Mohamed Al Kathiry, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam;

His Excellency Lim Hokseng, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia to Brunei Darussalam;

And His Excellency Mikhail Vladimirovich Baranov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Brunei Darussalam.

After the ceremonies, His Majesty received in audience the newly appointed Brunei Darussalam Envoys and the newly appointed Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs. The audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
