The 20th Consumer Fair is expected to take place in July this year with more attractive activities lined up by the organisers. Meanwhile, the 19th Consumer Fair ended yesterday with the presentation of donations collected throughout the five-day event.
The donations were presented by Mr Jackson Ting, Managing Director of D'Sunlit Sendiran Berhad to two organisations. The Children's Cancer Foundation, YASKA received $2,512.65. The donation was presented to Dayang Tsara' Nawwarah binti Abdullah Chen, YASKA Treasurer. Meanwhile, $1,000 were donated to the Brunei Darussalam National Association for the Blind, BDNAB, which was received by Awang Jamary bin Dangga, President of the Association.
Members of the public continued to visit the Consumer Fair on its final day. More than 400 booths and over 200 participants took part in the Consumer Fair, which showcased various products and services from Government Departments, Financial institutions, as well as local and overseas entrepreneurs. According to the Marketing and Management Officer of D'Sunlit Sendirian Berhad, the 19th Consumer Fair received an encouraging response from both visitors and participants. Dayang Noor Aqeelah binti Ahmad Sanusi said the number of visitors have increased to 150,000 compared to 130,000 during the 18th Consumer Fair.
