Prime Minister’s Office and Its Departments Launched the Tadarus Ceremony

The Prime Minister’s Office and its department’s yesterday afternoon launched the Tadarus ceremony in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan and Kampung Masin Mosque. Organised by the Security and Enforcement Division at the Prime Minister’s Officer, the State Mufti Department, Attorney General’s Chambers, State Judiciary Department, with the cooperation of the Kampung Masin Mosque Takmir Committee, the tadarus ceremony is one of the Prime Minister’s Office annual activity to foster closer relations among officers and staff as well as mosque congregants.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud; Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti. The ceremony commenced with the presentation of endowment by the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office to the Imam of Kampung Masin Mosque.

This was followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the reading of Al-Quran, reading of tahlil arwah and doa selamat. Also present were; Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Head of Syar’ie Judges, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Setia Raja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Suhaili bin Haji Mohiddin, Syariah Court of Appeals Judge, Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin, Deputy State Mufti, Yang Arif Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan and Yang Arif Haji Johar bin Haji Muhammad, Syariah High Court Judges; and Haji Mohammed Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary for Law and Welfare.
