The Prime Minister's Office and its departments resumed the Tadarus ceremony today at the Kampung Salambigar Mosque. The ceremony was jointly organised by the Media and Cabinet Division; Security and Enforcement Division, Anti-Corruption Bureau; Internal Security Department; Council of State Department; Department of Radio and Television Brunei, Information Department, Royal Brunei Police Force, Energy and Industry Department, Government Printing Department, E-Government National Centre, Department of Electrical Services, Brunei Research Department with the cooperation from the Takmir Masjid Kampong Salambigar Committee.
Earlier, a presentation of endowment was held for the mosque presented by Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud, Acting Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. The function commenced with the Tadarus Al-Qur'an. Among those present were; Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Chief Sharie Judge; Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Setia Raja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Suhaili bin Haji Mohiddin, Syariah Court of Appeal Judge; and Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Mohd. Jammy bin Muhd Shah Al-Islam, Commissioner of Police. This is the second Tadarus ceremony organised by the Prime Minister's Office and its departments. The next Tadarus ceremony will be held at the Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque in Sengkurong this Thursday.
