Penanjong garrison: His Royal Highness 920 Lieutenant Colonel (Udara) Prince 'Abdul Mateen ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah attended a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Special Forces Regiment of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (SFR RBAF). The ceremony took place at Surau Asy-Syuja'ah, SFR RBAF Camp, Penanjong Garrison.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Also present were Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF, and the Commanding Officer of the SFR RBAF.
The ceremony commenced with the mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer and Sunat Hajat prayer, aimed at praying for the good health and well-being of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The event continued with the reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil, followed by a Special Doa led by Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar, Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate.
His Royal Highness concluded his participation by attending the Royal Banquet, where he received Junjung Ziarah from the attending guests.
