The children of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen; Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah; and Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah yesterday afternoon presented cheques from the proceeds of ticket sales of the special documentary ‘Prince Azim: Son of the Arts’ that was screened nationwide in July and August 2021.
The special documentary screening was supported by Progresif Sendirian Berhad; Times Cineplex; Jerudong International School Arts Centre; D’Sunlit Sendirian Berhad and Aewon Brunei. Proceeds from the ticket sales were handed over to four charities that received attention from Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim namely Yayasan Children’s Cancer Foundation, YASKA; Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam; SMARTER Brunei; and KACA Association. The handover ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Izzah, Jerudong.
His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen handed over a cheque amounting to $25,000 to YASKA and Pusat Ehsan, while Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah presented a $25,000 cheque to SMARTER Brunei. Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah handed over a cheque amounting to $25,000 to KACA. Earlier, the cheque handover was made by Dayang Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Haji Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer of Progresif.
