Pengiran Haji Mohd Wahab bin Pengiran Haji Abdullah, Assistant Senior Technical Instructor at the Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus has been awarded the Princess Maha Chakri Award for 2021. The award presentation ceremony took place yesterday MORNING at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kiarong.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the award ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand will be held on the 29th of October 2021, where the award recipients from all the ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste will participate virtually. Also present was Her Excellency Wanthanee Viputwongsakul, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam. At the ceremony, Pengiran Haji Mohd Wahab received the ‘Princess Maha Chakri Awards Honorary Brooch’ and other awards. Pengiran Haji Mohd Wahab was selected as the fourth Princess Maha Chakri Award winner for his valuable contributions in the development of the country’s education in areas of Cookery and Culinary Art.
