Prioritise a Quality and Clean Environment

Mulaut Abbatoir has been the supplier for sacrificial animals contributed by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam as well as the Royal family members since 1992.

Established in 1980 under the Agriculture Department, it was formerly known as 'Pusat Penyembelihan Ternakan Mulaut'. It was privatised in 1990 as Mulaut Abbataoir Sendirian Berhad and is a subsidiary of Royal Brunei Airlines. Currently, the company is under the management of Government Linked Company, namely Darussalam Assets Sendirian Berhad.

Mulau Abbatoir provide the supply, slaughtering and processing facilities for Islamic rituals of korban and akikah. The quality meat were imported from Australia, particularly the northern territory. The centre put a great importance to a clean environment, as well as slaughtering process in accordance with the requirements of Islamic Laws, based of Syariah laws.
