Prioritize Food Hygiene Aspects

The Tamu Ramadhan Tudong Saji in the Belait District is one of focal points for the district's residents to buy food and drinks for breaking the fast.

More than 100 booths are provided for entrepreneurs to run their business throughout the month of Ramadhan. Various delicacies, Malay modern and traditional cakes as well as drinks can be found at the market. It is important for food entrepreneurs to prioritise safety of selling food to the public which includes maintaining food and drinks hygiene as well as cleanliness at the respective booths area. Apart from that, all entrepreneurs are advised to look after the making process and to use halal certified ingredients.
