Process of Bringing Home Students in the Arab Republic of Egypt

As one of the government’s initiatives to look after the welfare and safety of the citizens and permanent residents of Brunei Darussalam during the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Islamic Studies Department as the secretariat for the Education Loan Assistance Scheme and Scholarship Committee, SBPP is currently implementing the process of bringing home students in the Arab Republic of Egypt who wish to return on a voluntary basis to Brunei Darussalam.

As informed by the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam, all students who are in the Arab Republic of Egypt are well. The Ministry of Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in the Arab Republic of Egypt and Royal Brunei Airlines are making efforts to carry out the process of bringing home the students to Brunei Darussalam in the near future. All students will undergo self-isolation, either in the location arranged by the government agency or in their respective homes.

To expedite the process of updating data and as reference for other government agencies, parents and guardians are requested to fill in the e-form available.
