Bandar seri begawan: The Public Works Department, Ministry of Development, has announced the provision of water supply through Standing Pipes by the Department of Water Services at various locations to aid those affected by water disruptions.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the public, especially residents experiencing water shortages, are encouraged to collect water using suitable containers. Standing pipes have been installed in several strategic locations to ensure accessibility for different catchment areas. These include Lambak Industries One and Two, and Salambigar Industry, serving areas in Mukim Berakas 'A', Mukim Berakas 'B', Mukim Gadong 'A', and Mukim Gadong 'B'.
Additionally, for residents in Mukim Lumapas, Mukim Kilanas, and Mukim Pangkalan Batu, standing pipes are available at Kampung Lugu National Housing Scheme Phases Five and Six. Meanwhile, the Kampung Serdang Mosque caters to the Mukim Kota Batu and Mukim Kianggeh areas. The Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque in Sengkurong also has standing pipes for Mukim Lumapas, Mukim Kilanas, and Mukim Pangkalan Batu.
In Mukim Gadong 'A' and Mukim Gadong 'B', standing pipes are situated at Kampung Madaras near the Pharmaceutical Services Department building. Furthermore, the Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque in Jerudong serves the Mukim Kilanas, Mukim Pangkalan Batu, and Mukim Gadong 'A' areas. The Standing Pipes at Tasek Lama, which served Mukim Kota Batu and Mukim Kinggeh, have been closed, but water supply remains available at other designated locations.
