During the question and answer session, a query on vaccine was raised. In response to the query, the Minister of Health explained that Brunei Darussalam has made an agreement with the World Health Organization, WHO on the matter.
Yang Berhormat said that currently, there are few countries who claimed to have the vaccine ready by the end of the year or early next year. At the moment, Brunei Darussalam through the WHO has made an agreement with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance to ensure that the country will have access to the vaccine once available. So the assurance is there, and 20 per cent of the population should have the access to the vaccine.
