Bandar seri begawan: City areas are synonymous with noise and crowds. But as the citizens and residents in the country are busy celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri, these areas become notably quiet and empty.
According to Radio Television Brunei, unlike normal days, roads in some areas as well as business premises in the country were quiet without the presence of visitors. Some shops even close on the first of Syawal as a show of respect for the holy month, apart from giving their staff the opportunity to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with their respective families.
