Raising Awareness of Bruneian Cuisines

The objective of Brunei Gastronomy Week is to raise awareness on Bruneian cuisines by encouraging more hotels and restaurants in the country to serve Bruneian cuisines in a more interesting way. Apart from further improving on the taste and elevating the presentation of Bruneian dishes to be served as part of a fine dining experience or at receptions held within or outside the country, Brunei Gastronomy Week also provides a unique gastronomy experience to domestic and overseas visitors. According to the winners of Brunei Gastronomy Week, the event among others helps them to improve their culinary skills and improvise new recipes.
