Bandar seri begawan: The Grand Parade Ceremony, featuring 1,065 members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces at the Parade Square, Royal Brunei Air Force, marked a significant highlight of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Anniversary Celebration. His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended the ceremony.
According to Radio Television Brunei, accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; and His Royal Highness 920 Lieutenant Colonel (Udara) Prince 'Abdul Mateen. Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF.
Upon his arrival, His Majesty received the Royal Salute and proceeded to inspect the Guard of Honour under the command of the Parade Commander, Lieutenant Colonel (Udara) Pengiran Mohd Zulhusmi bin Pengiran Mohd Roslan. The event continued with a parade featuring both slow and quick march-pasts carrying the Royal Crest and RBAF Crest.
The resounding chant of 'Daulat Kebawah Duli Tuan Patik' was presented three times by the RBAF Grand Parade. The Do'a Selamat was read by Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar, Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA'AT). The ceremony was further enlivened by a flypast involving the Royal Brunei Air Forces' S-70i Blackhawk Helicopter and C295MW transport aircraft.
