Al-Quran is the best provision for every Muslim. Glorifying Al-Quran and making it one's guidance in life will produce true Muslim individuals, families, society and nation who are faithful to Allah the Almighty.
Reading Al-Quran during Ramadhan has special benefits compared to other months. It is the best practice towards endearing oneself to the Mighty Creator and to reap multiple rewards. Dayang Zati Hanani binti Dato Seri Setia Haji Rajid, Al-Minhaaj Centre's Lecturer and Al-Huffaz Management Teacher said reading Al-Quran during Ramadhan brings Allah's help or intercession. Other benefits include blessings, Allah's protection and the companionship of the Malaikat or Angels, especially for those who perform Tadarus at mosques.
Ramadhan is also called As-Sharul At-Tarbiyah or the Month of Learning. Muslims are recommended to reap opportunities available during the holy month to train their hearts to love Al-Quran. Ramadhan provides the momentum to be close to Al-Quran by reading it regularly. Dayang Zati Hanani also said when one feels listless and lazy to read Al-Quran, seek a companion, a teacher or a motivation to endear oneself to Allah the Almighty by reading the holy book. Try to understand the meaning of Al-Quran's contents and practise what is read.
Muslims are advised to hold strongly to Al-Quran by making it a source of reference, learning and understanding its contents and maqasid or purpose. The teachings of Al-Quran should be practised in all aspects of life in order to gain Allah's guidance towards happiness in this world and the Hereafter.
