China and Brunei Darussalam have always respected one another and constantly strengthens cooperation with bilateral relations that maintain a steady momentum of development. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam stated this during the Reception for the 73rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China. The event was held at a hotel in Gadong, 28th September night.
Her Excellency Yu Hong said that both sides cherish the hard-won regional peace and stability, and observe the principle of non-interference in internal affairs. Representing the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. At the function, the Embassy released a memorial photo album named ’30 Years of Friendship’ compiled by the Embassy, as an expression of gratitude towards those who have contributed to China-Brunei relations.
