The close defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand continues to be strengthened through frequent exchanges between both countries. In conjunction with the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day, the Royal Embassy of Thailand in the country held a Reception last night.
Representing His Majesty’s government was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF. The ceremony ran concurrently with the presentation of a token of appreciation by Her Excellency Boosara Kanchanalai, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam to the Commander of the RBAF. Thailand remains committed in enhancing the bilateral defence ties with Brunei Darussalam and will work closely with Thailand counterparts to strengthen existing cooperation such as in education exchange as well as explore other new areas of cooperation such as in defence technology exchange.
