Tutong: A recreational walkathon was organized by the Mukim Ukong Consultative Council in collaboration with the Kampung Bukit Mosque Takmir Committee in the Tutong District. The event took place on the morning of December 21st and featured a 9.5-kilometer route that began and ended at the Kampung Bukit Mosque.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the walkathon aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster closer relationships among the mosque congregants and residents of Mukim Ukong. The event encouraged participation in physical activities like walking. Among the participants was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohamad Danial bin Ya'akub, a member of the Legislative Council, along with members of the mosque takmir committee and residents from the village.
