Bandar seri begawan: An outage affecting thousands of users of social media platform Reddit in the U.S. had eased after a brief downtime on Monday, according to tracking website Downdetector.com.
According to Radio Television Brunei, there were nearly 650 incidents of people reporting issues with the platform as of 5.40 p.m. ET compared with over 21,000 reports earlier. Downdetector tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources.
The brief disruption left many users unable to access the platform, but services were quickly restored, allowing users to return to their regular browsing and posting activities. Reddit has yet to provide an official statement regarding the cause of the outage.
