The nightly Festive Stage Performance in conjunction with His Majesty's 71st Birthday celebration continued last night with religious performances. It was held at the open area in front of the Royal Regalia in the capital.
Present was Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The performances which showcased Tausyeh, interactive quizzes, poetry and sketches were organised by the Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs and staged by the students and teachers from the Religious and Arabic schools. The religious stage performances among other things aimed to instil unity and harmony among the community in the country apart from expressing gratitude and joyousness of the citizens in celebrating His Majesty's birthday.
